Additional Information

Handmade Alliance is a social enterprise using creative, professional textiles manufacturing to offer skills development, work experience and employment to prisoners and ex-offenders. In our training hub based in King's Cross, we receive prisoners released on temporary licence and ex-offenders where we provide a textiles training programme and embedded production and employability skills development. We also work with London prisons to deliver in prison and out of prison training.

Can you help us create a video to promote our ground-breaking campaign to prevent child abuse?

Description

We are a small 7-person charity based in Croydon, South London. We have recently developed and launched a national campaign which we call 70/30 which aims to reduce child abuse and neglect significantly in the UK (70% reduction by the year 2030). The campaign aims to get decision makers investing resources in preventing child harm from ever beginning as opposed to what currently happens - waiting until babies and children are harmed and then help the extreme cases of abuse and neglect. As the campaign is still in its infancy, our current goal is to raise awareness and inform the general public, partner agencies, professionals and policy people about our work. We need to 1) educate on the topic of reducing child maltreatment and 2) enrol both supporters and active 70/30 volunteers (we call them our 70/30 ambassadors). We don't currently have any video footage for use on social media and other digital channels, however we have developed 70/30 branding, colour scheme, website and promotional materials which we have already launched. This video is the last and arguably most important material we need as a Campaign to achieve the level of awareness UK-wide we need if we are to succeed in reaching our goal and growing the campaign. If you're interested in helping us please get in touch ASAP.You can visit our website at www.70-30.org.uk or on Twitter @7030Campaign

Can you turn our vision and mission into a clear & compelling message?

Description

The campaign aims to get decision makers investing resources in preventing child harm from ever beginning as opposed to what currently happens - waiting until babies and children are harmed and then help the extreme cases of abuse and neglect. We need someone to review and amend as appropriate the 70/30 Campaign's core narrative and messaging to ensure that they are both compelling and memorable. We want you to be a critical best friend and advise on how we can make our public content more comprehensive, noticeable and enticing. As a campaign that relies heavily on the recruitment of volunteers (70/30 ambassadors) it's critical our messaging invites people to get involved.Could you help us to develop targeted communications and engagement suitable for different target groups? We need a plan to improve/refine our messages and thus increase our reach and grow our 70/30 ambassador numbers (currently 70) in order to make real impact in local communities across the UK.If you're interested in helping us please get in touch ASAP.You can visit our website at www.70-30.org.uk or on Twitter @7030Campaign
