Mission

Challenge Wales aims to help young people (aged 12 - 25 years) develop personal and social skills such as team building, communication, leadership, respect for others, discipline and self-esteem through sail training. This is achieved on a 72-ft round-the-world yacht, Challenge Wales.

The charity Challenge Wales is a relatively new charity based out of Cardiff but also visits other ports in Wales, Ireland and England. Challenge Wales is run entirely by volunteers with the passion to make things happen. Currently Challenge Wales undertakes big boat sailing experience days and corporate and team building trips to help keep the charity afloat and enabling more young people to have this opportunity to broaden their horizons.
