Creating an app or website

Description

AVUK's programme of early intervention focuses on developing the listening and spoken language skills of deaf children during their pre school years. Once a child 'graduates' from the programme, our support to them and their families does not stop there. We stay in touch with these families, and are in the process of developing further support for key transitional points as these children become teenagers and reach adulthood. One of AVUK's young ambassadors, James, who is profoundly deaf and accessed Auditory Verbal therapy as a young child, has spearheaded a particular project as part of this development. We wish to develop a peer to peer network for teenagers who have had Auditory Verbal therapy as babies and children, and create a platform where they can ask questions, share ideas and make friends with others who have been through similar experiences. We need support in creating an app and/or website to make this happen - if you are a website or app developer and are interested in this project, please get in touch!
