Mission

We coordinate and offer support services and safe haven for victims and survivors of domestic violence. We do this by advocating for positive social change, providing training & education, building alliances, securing and developing resources & influencing public policy and attitudes about domestic violence.  We aspire to a world free of violence and oppression.

The mission of Help End Abuse for Life (H.E.A.L.) is to coordinate and offer support services and safe haven to stop domestic violence in Lincoln County, New Mexico. HEAL… Determines the needs of the community with regard to domestic and sexual violence Provides a facility that may be used as a shelter for the abused Provides services to victims of abuse and their families Promotes education for the abused, their families, and the community. Develops other programs in related areas. Promotes public awareness and participation in our programs. Encourages and organizes fund-raising to maintain our programs. Educates governments and private resources in the problems of the abused Encourages efficient use of government and private resources for support of H.E.A.L. Acts as the liaison among community organizations, all levels of government and the private sector in encouraging and promoting the distribution of information about the abused. Develops and distributes government and private resources to maintain the programs of our organization and other related services Supports and implements the growth of Lincoln County, New Mexico resources that support our Mission. Encourages and provides information and assistance for students in the public educational system who may be victims of abuse.
