Mission

The Mad Hatter's Charity was started 8 years ago primarily to give sick and disabled Midlands children exciting days out. Having received charitable status in March 2009, we now work with over 90 'special needs' schools in the Midlands area. To create strong relationships with local businesses to ensure that the bonds created in our community are long-lasting and mutually beneficial.  To ensure that we continue to provide funding for schools and days out for children.

Additional Information

The Mad Hatter's Charity was started 8 years ago primarily to give sick and disabled Midlands children exciting days out. Having received charitable status in March 2009, we now work with over 90 'special needs' schools in the Midlands area. We want to continue providing days out for the children; it is vitally important as it gives less fortunate youngsters something to look forward to, enabling them to make new friends and have new experiences (so far some 10,000 local children have benefitted). We regularly receive requests from the schools to help fund specialist equipment they need i.e. sensory equipment, wheelchairs, therapy cycles, which help to increase children's independence and quality of life; subject to funds being available we help where we can.
