Mission

Our mission is to create a simple and easy to use online web app for frontline workers to record their impact. We appreciate that frontline workers most effective use of their time is often face-to-face time with the people that they work with - this time is steadily being eaten up by data entry and record keeping. We want to minimise this by creating an app that will allow front line workers to record quantitative and qualititative work on the go. Market research is showing that a huge amount of front line workers do not fully understand how their frameworks and their time is generating an impact on the people that they work with. We want to team up/utilise current infographic tools to help display journey mapping and impact measurement in a visually appealing and easily understandable way. Ultimately, we want to create better life chances for young people through better service provision. We are hoping that PromiseTech will be a leading platform and idea to help us achieve this. Hello! We are a group of intrapreneurs looking to create an impact measurement platform for frontline workers. Being based at a children and young people's charity in North London (www.thewinch.org) we noticed that there was a complete lack of impact measurement tools that were intuitive, cheap and presented data in a meaningful way. Our youth workers were beginning to doubt their own impact on the young people we were working with and we were struggling to present the amazing work we do as an organisation, to funders and other governing bodies in the way that they required. And so began 'PromiseTech'. One youth worker, one CEO, and two researchers culminating a research project to create this web based app.
