Mission

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted horses. We also provide support and education to increase the use of ethical training and horsecare practices which improves the treatment and welfare of horses in the wider population. Our mission also is to expand to create resources and facilities that allow people to benefit from interaction with rescued horses through Equine Assisted Therapy, in particular people with mental health problems or anyone socially disadvantaged/excluded.

We are in need of marketing and PR help to raise our profile, create an expansion plan and also to develop income streams. We need help recruiting regular volunteers (who can be based anywhere) to get on board and help increase and maintain our on line presence. For example we do have a basic website and Facebook page, however none of our trustees or existing volunteers have the time or flair to be able to build on what we have - the website could be made much more helpful by having links to other complementary sites and information about our missions, but currently does not. There are good opportunities to raise income via the website, but again we need to recruit people to help do this. We also need help recruiting people to sell donated items for us on platforms such as eBay, as there is great potential to build on what we already do, we just need more humans!
