Our biggest project is CHAOS! which is a specialist play service, the biggest in the region, providing exciting and often unique play opportunities to amazing children.  Many of the children we support have nowhere else to go, in the holidays many of our parents get very close to the edge.  We help.  This summer we will have to have found around £60,000 so we can provide play opportunities to over 200 children.  We have to employ vey specialist nurses to care for some of our children, hire venues, hire and purchase equipment and supplies, however we provide our services for around a third of the cost of any similar organisation in the area. We support the 39,000 unpaid Carers in our borough who look after people wih disabilities and health conditions.  We provide information, advice, support and more.  Rather than sit and wait for funds to be given to us we make most of our own income ourselves, we have a luxury coffee lounge open to the public and a large function venue.  These generate most of our income but we still struggle.
