Mission

Our priority is the education of children and young adults up to twety one years of age, who we beleive are vital in assiting the progress of society and breaking the shakles of poverty that holds the population back. Our vision is to expand SIKAT to other island of the Philippines, there are more remote rural communities desperate to educate their children.Specific Aims:Strengthening our work and ensure thar our project can offer a better quality education and give great opportunity to enhance personal development.To improve access to education and conditions availableTo To empower children and young adult to actively pursue careers which they would not otherwise be able to obtain due to lack of means.To facilitate sponsoring a child's education.

SIKAT- Helping Children Develop, is a registered charitable trust in England and Wales, charity number 1123801,and constituted by a declaration of trust, dated 30th  October 2007. SIKAT is based in London, it currently operates from home. It is a grassroots charity dedicated to transforming education to improved access to education and opportunity for children and young adult in impoverished Villege in the rural areas of the Republic of the Philippines. Sikat is run entirely by Volunteers and has no paid staff, sharing a passionate belief in the importance of education to children and young adult's development and happiness to expand their ambitions, and achieved a real education.
