The aim of Safe and Stable horse assisted therapy, is to provide subsidised horse assisted therapy sessions to vulnerable young people in South East UK. To make horse assisted therapy as available to people suffering with mental health disabilities as Riding for the Disabled is available for people with physical disabilities.

Safe and Stable horse assisted therapy is in the process of being registered with the Charity Commission. We provide fun, safe sessions for participants as a non-invasive way for them to see for themselves how their underlying emotions affect their well-being.  No horse riding is involved, all work is on the ground, facilitated by a qualified horse assisted therapist, a key worker and of course, one of our specially selected horses. Horses, being experts in non-verbal communication and social herd animals act as a mirror to the participants emotions and focus, which is particularly beneficial for those who struggle to communicate or choose to hide, their true emotions or focus in traditional counselling sessions.
