Mission

We are aimed at the 1 in 5 UK adults who say they want to change to their drinking. Our members don’t identify with services aimed at alcoholics or dependent drinkers such as Alcoholics Anonymous or the NHS. Instead, they want ideas and support to change their own drinking habits. This is why we use behaviour change science to underpin the service we offer, and talk of “positive change” or a “self-guided journey”, rather than using the language of “12 steps” or “recovery from alcoholism”. Our approach is therefore more attractive to most people, who do not want to be lectured or made to feel guilty about the drinking. It also distinguishes us from the existing alcohol charities and other service providers in this field. We see ourselves more like the Weight Watchers, but with alcohol.

We are a healthy lifestyle brand, focused on supporting people who want to change their relationship with alcohol. We bring everything people need in one place: setting goals and monitoring progress using our online tools sharing advice and tips with others, both online and socially connecting with experts and perks for additional support and distractions friendly socials and inspiring events. We launched in January 2015, and have c. 2500 members, and have already programmed over 30 workshops and events across the UK. We have 15 volunteer brand hosts in different cities and towns, and have received great media coverage.
