Additional Information

A small community development agency working with a diverse range of projects meeting the needs of vulnerable people including older people and people with chronic health conditions; people recovering from addiction; families affected by mental illness and addictions. The common objetive across all our projects is to find ways of connecting lonely and isolated people to build communities, reducing poverty, and empowering people to lead happy and fulfilled lives. As a new organisation we have developed with short term grants and income generation through selling training and consultancy to other organisations. We now need to reach a wider range of supporters to build fundraising by donations.

PR Help Needed

Description

At LIFEbeat, we know we are great at what we do. Our summer camps are consistently oversubscribed and we have worked with a huge range of teenagers, all of whom are ready and willing to explain what a fantastic impact LIFEbeat had on their lives. Despite this, we are a relatively unknown charity and we struggle to secure marketing and promotion opportunities. In 2018 we are aiming to spread the word and to tell people more about what we have been doing. We desperately need some help with our PR and positioning to get the story out and bring us into the mainstream. We are looking for any advice or support to help tell our story, promote our work and become more recognised in the world of youth work.
