Mission

Humanity Road is a top rated disaster response nonprofit that monitors social media to save lives. We support aid agencies and first responders during natural disaster and relay urgent needs to those who can respond. In 2013 we helped 10,000 people get food and water and 121 people get rescued. Become a supporter and help us close the black hole of communications when disaster strikes.

Additional Information

Tornadoes struck Nebraska earlier this month and in response, we activated our digital disaster desk to provide information aid.  After Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines our response helped save over 100 individuals, after Sandy struck the Dominican Republic we helped rescue a whole community in the Dominican Republic and helped provide coordination and communications to 48,000 in the Rockaways.  We now need your help. Did you know in 2013 we received only $7,292 in donations?  Each year, Humanity Road Volunteers provide on average over 15,000 hours of service.  Humanity Road services equate to approximately $250,000 to $300,000 in volunteer service hours.  We are the only organization in the world that provides this service.  It’s made possible by our digital operations team and your donations.  The work our volunteers do places information in the hands of emergency management and the public faster.    Our campaign goal for this quarter is $10,000 which will help to continue our operations for another year.  Please help people in communities like yours get help when they need it most. Your tax deductible contributions help to save lives by closing the communications gaps caused by disaster and improve response.   Can you help our disaster response teams with marketing to help support our financial donation goals?  In 2013 we were rated one of the top 10 nonprofit disaster response organizations by the public through Great Nonprofits. When you donate to an award winning charity,  you know your donation helps make a difference. $5,000 can help people and animals impacted by disaster receive aid. After Typhoon Yolanda your dollars helped thousands of people receive live saving, rescue food and water.  With $5,000 we were able to connect 48,000 people impacted by Sandy with critical communications services. Help people in communities like yours get help when they need it most. Your tax deductible contribution helps save lives by closing disaster communications gaps and improve disaster preparedness and response. Take action today to help those in need.   Video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWHWnoyR4RMAbout us: http://humanityroad.org/aboutus/
