Spirit of Sharing, or SOS, is a small 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Oceanside, CA. We provide need based help to active duty military families (and some veterans), in southern California, from any branch and most ranks. Spirit of Sharing provides assistance during the holiday season in the way of emergency food rations, warm clothing, basic necessities, and several gifts for each military child (singed from Santa). SOS also functions throughout the year and provides help to those military families facing a crisis or tragedy, such as the death or injury of the service member, or some other unforeseen event. Our 100% all volunteer organization is made up of military veterans, military spouses, and caring individuals from the community. We will never turn a military family, in need, away—if we can help—we will! SOS volunteers are dedicated individuals with big hearts. We do what is necessary to help any family that comes our way and take time out of their day to find the resources any family in need requires. It is an honor and a privilege to serve our local southern California military families
