Personal Introduction

Hello, I have more than 30 years of marketing communications and public relations experience across a range of industries.  My expertise includes communications program development, including the use of traditional and digital channels, project management, and web architecture conceptualization. I received a "Mini-MBA" in social media marketing in 2011 from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.  Specific skills include promotional and pr writing, speech writing, digital content development, and more.  Working through a network of creatives, I can also provide design, photography, illustration and video production support.

Experience

My background includes time as Editorial Director for The SPI Group (current), a leading digital agency focused on delivering internet and intranet development and design services for clients in a range of industries.  I am responsible for key client relationships, the management of web initiatives, and the development of communications programs for clients such as Merck and Covance. Before joining The SPI Group, I was Head of Brand Management and Creative Services at The Linde Group, a USD $20 billion global industrial gases company.  I was responsible for public relations and marketing communications in North America.  I was responsible for introducing Social Media into the company's communications mix.   Prior to joining The Linde Group, I was Head of Marketing Communications and Internal Communications at BOC Gases, with oversight responsibility for global marketing communications activities, and direct responsibility for marketing communications, press relations and internal communications in the United States.
