The People’s Orchestra mission is to:Give everyone access to orchestral music whether it’s playing, listening or volunteering. Provide free instruments, tuition and bursaries, as needed, for those with low incomes. Develop public education and appreciation of music through access to public concerts and the maintenance of musical ensembles Give accomplished amateur musicians of any age access to playing in an orchestra

The People's Orchestra is a West Bromwhich based charity founded by Sarah Marshall and Andy Sandham. TPO charity also provides training and development opportunities using an orchestra and its support structure as a vehicle of delivery providing work experience opportunities to help unemployed people get closer to the jobs market, especially in the creative sector. We provide high quality volunteering placements which are challenging and exciting, to help motivate applicants to be confident in their ability to find work.
