Additional Information

Who is WISE UP?Originally founded in 2011 at a special needs school in West Yorkshire WISE UP Workshopsessions gave young people the opportunity to express themselves. Working alongside teachers as a Learning Support Mentor using themes from the national curriculum I succeeded in enabling children to cope with their feelings, developing insight, emotional intelligence and confidence in their learning using drama, performance and art. Since returning to the North West I have worked at local schools and with groups of adults with brain injuries, learning differences and disabilities to promote speech and communication skills.
