Mission

We need help! We have no marketing budget and are struggling to pay our salaries - meagre as they are. We have done well in the last 2 years - growing from 1 to 6 part time members of staff, and people really love us - we get glowing feedback forms , have a team of wonderfully committed volunteers, and the whole repair and upcycling trend is really popular just now. But good marketing would really help us get to the next level. Plus we're really friendly and make a very nice cuppa. And we offer volunteers free places on some of our workshops to say thank you!

Remade in Edinburgh is a social enterprise that works across environment and education - we teach repair skills and campaign for a zero waste future. We're small, but aim to punch above our weight. We have a loyal base of community support and offer a mix of affordable and free services and sell refurbished computers. We offer practical repair education in fixing computer, mobiles and clothes and we're going to offer furniture repair too. This is part of a much wider environmental angle of questioning our current model of growth - stripping the resources of the planet at an alarming rate. Instead, we want to empower consumers to fix their own stuff, buy less, and question a culture of consumerism and the way things are made to break down in the first place.
