The BeingWell exists to help people maintain resilience, vitality and health. The BeingWell helps people to be mindful of their health and to give their psychological and physical wellbeing importance in their lives. The BeingWell places emphasis on maintaining being well; reducing stigma associated with mental health and to help slow or prevent unhealthy psychological conditions.

Mindfulness research shows that mindfulness is effective in relieving stress and anxiety and can improve decision-making, empathy and collaborative working relationships in workplaces. The BeingWell runs mindfulness courses for private individuals; and mindfulness occupational health programs for businesses and organisations. The BeingWell is a social enterprise and so also runs charitable mindfulness programs in Tower Hamlets. Our mindfulness teachers have attained academic achievement in their own fields spanning psychology, psychotherapy, counselling, physical therapies, as well as meditation. Practitioners meet well-respected accrediting organisations criteria while also actively having a personal mindfulness practice. Our qualified people mean that we offer high-quality mindfulness programs that are well designed and expertly delivered. The BeingWell also researches the work it does to contribute to academic literature, evaluate The BeingWell services and to be transparent about the effectiveness of the work being undertaken. This research will provide a great opportunity for psychology students to get involved and to support their studies.
