Personal Introduction

I am a highly-organised, results-driven and pro-active Marketer, with a proven track record of being able to think and act resourcefully in challenging and high-pressured situations to tight deadlines.  I am a highly capable and determined individual with a strong academic background, possessing effective decision-making, stakeholder management, time-management, marketing skills and cultural agility. I am always eager to challenge myself in new situations and expand my horizons and have a very high level of learning agility. A graduate from Christ’s College, Cambridge with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, seeking a new challenge to further develop my career in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical or FMCG. I am now gaining considerable experience as a marketer within GSK’s Academy for Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific, helping to build marketing capabilities and leading the re-development of the brand planning process across the region, and product manager experience in the UK. I have worked to develop my professional skills and challenge myself continuously, gaining a number of professional qualifications.   I have recently obtained a CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing, while I was awarded an Intermediate Award in Employment Law through the CIPD last year. I am also currently studying Mandarin in my spare time and I intend to undertake an MBA in a few years time. Essentially, I have never stopped studying: I am a dedicated and hard-working individual with an inquisitive mind who loves being set challenges and working out how to overcome them successfully and to a high standard. Doing this has helped me to become highly organised and methodical in my approach to work.  My goal in life is to continue to challenge myself in every role I pursue and I am now keen to see how I can best utilise my skills to help others. Experience

For the past 19 months I have held the role of Marketing Excellence Manager for Emerging Markets to improve commercial capabilities.  For the past 6 months I have also worked as a product manager on the UK team for Seretide. Prior to this I worked on the Consumer side of the business for Maximuscle for about 9 months.
