Mission

Deafax exists to empower deaf people, by striving for equality and accessibility in all walks of life. We specialise in creating, developing and delivering, deaf-friendly resources and training; often researching heavily in to the correlating area, beforehand. These resources are useable by both deaf people themselves and the professionals, or service providers that come in to contact with them. We offer access to new and innovative technologies, and fight for essenial services to be provided in a deaf person's first language. Through this, we have seen academic skills and self-confidence improve and feelings of isolation and inadequacy reduce.  We have witnessed service providers becoming more aware, and more comfortable, equipped with the knowledge that they are meeting thier responsibilities both socially and legally. We work with The Deaf Community, Education and Healthcare providers and the Business Sector.
