http://www.aylesham.org.ukAylesham Community Trust (ACT) is a local charity based in the rapidly growing village of Aylesham at the heart of the ex-industrial area of the Kent Coal Fields. We are a Registered Charity and our Charitable Aims include the provision of community services and delivering access to training and employment opportunities. We generate income by renting out spaces and reinvest this money to further our charitable goals. In 2023 our Trustees agreed an ambitious programme of growth and change. Working with some brilliant partners our plans will unlock new types of support and opportunities for the people of Aylesham and the surrounding area and the wider Kent Coalfield.
Education and Skills
Following the adoption of a new vision for our future the Trust is currently engaged in a process of change and growth as we seek to re-engage with the local community to develop new systems, services and support activities that meet the emerging needs of our growing and changing community. This is a challenging task and requires risk taking and includes developing a number of new ventures. In 2025 we will be launching a new catering service and seeking to secure the resources we need to develop our premises as a local centre for arts and culture. We are overhauling our communication systems to make them more inclusive and responsive and are feeling excited and nervous about the challenges of encouraging participation in these projects to create a new, wider & ongoing collaboration with our community that will shape the way we work into the future. We would be happy to hear from anyone who would be interested in supporting our journey.
We need some help to design and create a snappy and impactful Vision document and an associated animated video for use on our web site. It needs be concise, visually appealing and, as a document, a PDF that can also be printed as a short run document. We have the copy but need the design skills and would be very grateful for any help. Thanks for reading our ad :-)
