http://www.outloudmusic.orgI need help with marketing for a new ambitious project. As it stands I find time to market difficult as I run the company (and another business) and my time and knowledge dedicated to marketing is very low! I am also organising and running workshops, trying to create partnerships with primary schools and alternative education establishments as well as promote the activities to the general public. I run the website and market mainly via mail-chimp, survey monkey and have recently set up facebook and tiwtter, however they are not where I think we should be marketing. My new mission.....is to create a multi-purpose community venue in Westgate Ward, Ipswich. I've located the space and only have 4 months to turn the project around before the space is leased out. I have a business plan and projections however I do not have the capital for the project build. I'm applying for grant finding as well as setting up a crowdfunding page. I need help with branding, direction and vision!! I think with some clever video marketing we can sell the story of the venue which will impact heavily on any applications and crowd funding. The venue's impact: The venue will offer young people a fun, safe and socially positive environment that is relevant to all young people regardless of financial or social background. The primary objective to the sessions run from the venue is for young people to gain greater self-confidence, larger ‘real life’ social networks and friendships. Our service delivery allows anybody with an interest in music to actually play an instrument and create music; it is accessible to all. For many of our customers this generates a life-long hobby/interest and for some a future career. We have worked with education specialists to ensure that our sessions can maximise impact through embedded learning techniques in areas such as communication, numeracy, literacy, ICT and social/soft skills. Parents and young people have also reported improvements in musical rhythm, vocabulary, self-expression and independence. We need to raise capital as the materials we need are expensive....and we need to sell the story to achieve this! Cheers Joe

Out Loud Music (www.outloudmusic.org) was set up to engage and inspire disadvantaged young people in the Ipswich area, giving them a safe and fun environment to play music together, make new friends and grow in confidence. Our primary activity; ‘iRock’ provides an ambitious, fun and culturally relevant workshop utilising iPads and other technologies. The ethos of the workshop is to give young people with additional needs the same access to music making and production as mainstream pupils using aspirational and easy to use ‘instruments’. Out Loud Music has secured it’s third year of Activities Unlimited funding for iRock to run weekend sessions and we’re now looking to expand in line with customer demand. We have also partnered with ‘Wikid Percussion’ and have helped develop their service bringing it under the ‘Out Loud’ banner. Other activities we have developed includes ‘iSounds’ which aims to engage groups of hard to reach young people in a recording studio environment using both iPads and music technology to provide practical and soft skills as a pathway back into employment.
