City Harvest offers an elegant solution to the pressing problems of food poverty and food waste in London. While thousands of Londoners go hungry each day, safe, healthy and useable food is being disposed of as waste. City Harvest is the first London-wide food rescue network to which food establishments can turn in order to transport their excess edible food to where it is most needed.
