I am very passionate about food that makes you good;) I feel we should all have access to information about which foods contribute to health and which to illness. I am organizing an even which will focus on sugar awareness.  WHO recommends 6 spoonfuls a day, on avarage we consume around 20!, children and teenagers the most. Healthy or healthier, slimmer life is for everyone. People young and old do not have to suffer from non alcoholic fatty liver, type 2 diabetes, high bad cholesterol, cancer,  depression ,obesity  and more just because they don't even know they eat too much sugar. We want to empower everyone in making everyday diet choices. We will be telling people what exactly sugar does to you, and how to minimise consumption, in this sugar craving, crazy world. What are healthy alternatives(not honey, agave, maple or sweeteners)There will be a speaker(a doctor or professor), nutritionists, dietitian, chef for people to consult with. We might play some short documentary clips. This event is free for everyone who wants to change their life and life of the ones around. I am working with a local Sure Start  Childrens Centre. After this event we would like to take this idea to schools, we would like schools to teach children how to take care and responsibility for their own health befor bad habits take over.
