Official Mission statement yet to be developed/confirmed, but for the purpose of fulfilling this section the following statement has been developed to provide a general comprehension. To continuously strive and innovate in global poverty alleviation amongst the poorest groups by providing access to ethically inclusive  financial instruments with the mean to capacitate and empower beneficiaries in attaining lasting social, financial status and accessibility to mainstream banking services.

IRW's microfinance team which has been operating for the last 10 years is in the process of setting up an independently governed microfinance holding company, structured as a shareholding (with an IRW SPV as the majority shareholder) in parallel with a registered charity to provide both comprehensive corporate governance for its subsidiary entities and to act as a capital mobilization mechanism.   With its own aspiring mission  and corporate strategic objectives the existing Microfinance Business Unit require support with the branding of the new company including a suitable name which reflects its core social/ethical values in providing Islamic microfinance to its jurisdictions (14 countries) whilst maintaining its corporate image and appeal in attracting support from both the public and private sector corporations.
