We think that current cremation and burial options are mostly not good for the earth or for human well-being. We want to supply good evidence about the options in accessible forms. We want to engage key audiences in debate. We want to stimulate public pressure for innovation and new options.  This issue affects everyone and the earth and we need to catch up with what land, the environment and our culture requires.

The aim of The Corpse Project is to improve what we do with our bodies after death. It is a new, small, ambitious and smart group of people, operating with the benefit of professional skills and passion, working collaboratively but showing leadership.  It is a public education and engagement project, a research project, a campaign project and an exploration of possible business models and new ways of working in the 'dead body sector'.
