House of Objects (HoBs) is a centre for creativity and innovation in education. Hobs operate a scrap store facility and innovation studio. Originally formed in 2009 as a small localised initiative it has expanded to become a significant influence in inspiring creative education across the North East region. In the last 3 years House of Objects has worked with over 14,400 children and young people, 3486 adults and teachers on our training programmes, built partnerships with 70 businesses, collected over 466 van loads of waste otherwise destined for landfill attracted over 1150 paying members.
