Mission

BehindBras CIC is a fledgeling, but award-winning social purpose employment and training venture that supports and accelerates women who are socially excluded into aspirational, sustained employment for the fashion, retail and associated creative industries. Our main beneficiaries are serving and former women prisoners in addition to supporting women considered to be from hard to reach backgrounds facing barriers to employment.

We help women who take part in our programme to break free from inequality through financial independence, enabling them to progress to become qualified and employable for work in the fashion and associated industries. Our programme helps women to become self-sufficient and reintegrate back into a society which, as a consequence, leads to a reduction in reoffending. Our aim is to empower women so that they become self-reliant and build their own successful lives achieving a sense of purpose.
