Children and Youth
The Brun Bear Foundation was established in February 2015 by Edwin Lampert in memory of his Dad. The charity's name derives from the two bears - Brunhilfer and Brunfin - that his father believed lived with the family following a bout of radiotherapy to the brain. Monies raised go to causes that were dear to his father, including children's health, education, community projects and animal welfare - including bears. In six short months Edwin has written and published a successful children's book - The Adventures of Brunhilfer and Brunfin: The Flood - done readings at books stores, kindergartens and shortly Great Ormond Street - organised a successful sporting event, secured a donation from Lloyd's Bank, got media coverage and is about to organise a programme of events both the UK and internationally through to 2017. He has done this in parallel with his full time job. He needs marketing support to sustain the momentum/take the charity to the next level.
