Mission

The Pelvic Partnership raises awareness of pregnancy-related Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) which affects one in five women and can result in long - term immobility for these new mothers requiring them to use crutches or a wheelchair for months or years after the birth of their child. Although PGP responds well to treatment, lack of awareness of how to treat PGP means that women often struggle with severely reduced mobility and associated psychological issues when this can be avoided. By improving access to information, the Pelvic Partnership changes these outcomes, and transforms women’s lives.
