Mission

The legacy of post 9/11 has been fragile and complex; our nation is facing increasing challenges around issues directly or indirectly related to religious and non-religious worldviews. We believe this complex discourse is best conducted by those who do not see the debate solely in terms of 'us and 'them'. SINCE 9/11’s education programme achieves this by supporting the vital work of teachers and young advocates in increasing understanding around the events and history of 9/11, opening up dialogue around its legacy and building a more cohesive British society.

SINCE 9/11 is an educationa charity which was set up on the tenth anniversary of September 11th 2011 to ensure that the legacy of 9/11 is one that builds hope from tragedy. We focus on building understanding around the events, causes and consequences of this tragic event to create confident and well-informed young citizens.
