To give foster children their own personal belongings and make them feel loved.
Disability
Many children have to leave their homes with almost nothing or the few items they have are put in a trash bag. We want to break the stigma of the trash bag and provide some new, fresh items for kids that have to go through this hard transition. Placement bags can be given to kids as they are transitioned to a new home and include a new duffle bag/backpack, new pj's, a blanket, stuffed animal, book, toothbrush/toothpaste, bath soap/puff. Kelly Hughes started this project after seeing 7 foster kids come into her home with little or nothing. Her desire is to show some extra love to kids on a very hard day.
