Mission
To ensure safe accommodation and support access to essential support services for people in KFL&A who are struggling with the economic, social and often emotional challenges of being without permanent housing.
Ryandale Transitional Housing aims to bridge the gap between shelter dependency and sustainable, independent living. Beyond the provision of a safe and comfortable place to stay, Ryandale works to build greater social inclusion and a renewed sense of hope in our residents, while focusing on perseverance and a realistic view of the road ahead.

Additional Information
Ryandale Transitional Housing provides a structured, supportive environment for men overcoming homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, or recent incarceration. Our program offers residents a private room in one of our three transitional houses, accommodating up to 23 individuals. Residents can stay for up to one year while participating in a step-down approach to support services, gradually increasing their independence.
Our services focus on life-skills development, trauma recovery, and addiction support to help residents build a stable foundation for independent living. We provide individualized case management, access to counseling, and connections to community resources such as employment training, healthcare, and housing support.
Residents participate in structured daily routines that promote accountability and self-sufficiency. Our home-like environment fosters peer support and community integration, helping individuals develop the skills and confidence needed to transition to permanent housing.
Ryandale is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, recognizing the unique barriers faced by marginalized populations. We collaborate with local organizations to provide culturally informed and holistic support, ensuring that each resident receives the tools and guidance necessary to break the cycle of homelessness and build a more stable future.
