Who are we? We are a community that will make it fun and easy for you to get involved in philanthropy. We help you give your time and/or money to those that need it most in a regular, sustainable and effective way. What do we do? We raise money for small charities in the UK that focus on children and young people. We do this through a membership fee (£10 a month) and through fundraising events Why do we do it? Firstly, we want to make a difference. We want to help children and youth in the UK who need it. Secondly, we believe the fund-raising model, of what is essentially emotional blackmail, is not sustainable. We believe that you should be able have a good time while doing something good and worthwhile. Thirdly, we believe there are more people like us who want to get involved in philanthropy but don’t know where to start. But most importantly it’s about giving back and finding new ways to raise money for small charities that desperately need help.
