The Outsiders Trust is a registered charity which runs several projects : The Outsiders Club for socially, sensory and physically disabled people (all over the world but mostly in the UK) to make new friends, enjoy peer support; with their sexuality and relationships, and find partners. Membership is free. www.Outsiders.org.uk The Sex and Disability Helpline - free phone and email; service for disabled people and their carers TLC a website for disabled men and women to find responsible sexual services www.TLC-Trust.org.uk (website currently being revamped) The Sexual Health and Disability Alliance (SHADA) for health and social care workers to support each other with their work supporting disabled clients SHADA International a website which features pioneers across the world and their work supporting disabled people with their sexual lives, and encourages people abroad to team up. www.SHADAInternational.com; to be launched in October Sex Education for Disabled People - a new project to provide free sex and relationship education to people with all kinds of impairment. It is being written by disabled people and those who provide them with sexual services. It will be in the form of; a website and e-book so it can be viewed by everyone including blind people. I need help and financial support to make this happen. I am already in my 70's and don't think I will last as well as David Attenboruough! I would like to know that when I can no longer run all these fabulous projects, there will be funds to pay for someone, or a team of trained people, to take over. I live in the Highlands of Scotland and have a London office - a spare room in a members' house. Other volunteers and myself all work for free.
