Training/volunteer opportunities in traditional conservation techniques and crafts such as wildflower meadow establishment and tree planting. To promote participation in training and work experience by members of the local community and the unemployed leading to the development of new skills which could lead to further volunteering opportunities or paid employment. All participants will benefit both mentally and physically from the experience of working outdoors improving hedgerows and native woodland.
Education and Skills
A fledgling wildlife friendly grounds maintenance company hoping to become sustainable whilst offering accredited qualifications to secondary school students and the unemployed in practical environmental conservation skills including climate change mitigation and flood risk reduction. As a social enterprise we hope to use surplus profits to deliver biodiversity improvements to locally deprived communities through tree planting and wildlfower meadow establishment.
