I design and produce videos to promote the company and its many projects, which range from creation of smartphone apps to television programming. 2009-2011 Creative Director, Gail Roberts Public Relations, Burbank, CA. Working remotely, I designed Websites and advertisements and collateral materials for the clients of one of the West Coast’s top entertainment public relations firms, whose clients have ranged from Bruce Springsteen to Diana Ross. 2008 - 2009 Design consultant, Dada Entertainment, New York, NY. Designed (and wrote copy for) landing pages, Web and WAP banners, and print projects. The company also made use of my skills as a scriptwriter, actor, videographer, and brand strategist. August 2002 – Present Creative director, ThamesPath Propaganda for Commerce, London and Deep South Design, USA. Web and print design projects for a variety of British, Australian, and American clients. Recent projects: Designing the product lines for two on-line T-shirt, apparel, and gift companies, Fur’s Family and Acerbia. November 2000 – February 2002 Deloitte & Touche, San Francisco. Was one of the first two designers hired by the e-business unit of the famous international consulting firm October 1999 – November 2000 Art Director, Cybergold.com, an Oakland-based Internet incentives concern. Responsibilities included designing client splash pages and animated banners, as well as copywriting. May 1998- September 1999 – Senior Designer, Destiny Telecomm International, Oakland, California. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, the design of print advertisements, posters, brochures, and phone cards. I supervised three junior designers and oversaw the department’s budgeting. November 1997 – May 1998 Art Director, WebPower, San Francisco. Recruited, selected, and supervised freelance illustrators and photographers for the online magazine Getting It. June 1992 – November 1997 Creative Director, WilsonWatson&Wong, San Francisco. Designed Websites, print advertisements, multimedia projects, and annual reports and wrote copy for clients as diverse as Sonoma County real estate agents, Marin County’s Sonic Solutions, the Young School of Dance in suburban London, the UK’s Expert Witness Care, a Dartmouth University alumni group, and the UK’s Theatre Express. Temporary design and production positions with West Advertising and Young & Rubicam. Software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Quark XPress, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash. Extracurricular: I have done pro bono (that is, volunteer) design work for many Los Angelsbased clients, most notably Special Olympics and the Alzheimer’s Association.
