Tia Rescue is dedicated to the welfare and rehoming of greyhounds, shire horses and other unwanted animals to enable them to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

Tia Rescue is home to the largest greyhound sanctuary in the North of England and is one of only four Shire Horse Approved Visitor Centres in the country. As well as dogs and horses the Tia is home to many other beautiful animals - including miniature donkeys, goats, chickens and a giant rabbit. We also have 6 shops around Yorkshire helping to raise much needed funds and hold fundraising events throughout the year. People at Tia are passionate about animals. There is a real desire to give each and every animal in our care the very best chance to lead a long, healthy and fulfilling life and wherever possible rescued greyhounds and horses are rehomed.
