To help less privileged children access professional arts training regardless of financial background, for career development, increased confidence, self-esteem and life skills.
Disability
As we celebrate our 15th Anniversary we are lookign to support a further 100 children per term for the next 3 years. Over the years we have given hundreds of less privileged children access to professional arts training and given them a thirst for learning. Many of our students have had wonderful opportunties includign leading roles on TV, (4 year contracts on EastEnders, Rev, the Revolting World of Stanley Brown0, on the West End, (the Lion King, Oliver!, Matilda) and lead roles in feature films including Song for Marion and Swallows and Amazons. Scholarship beneficiaries have included Jermain Jackman, winner of the Voice UK 2014 and Jayden Oshenye currently playign Fletcher in the West End's Bodyguard. Grants have been virtually impossible to access so we have had to run a variety of fundraising activities to keep going. Last year we set up Stage & the City; after work performig arts classes for adults that wish to have fun. ALL profits from this new venture go to the Fiorentini Foundation which provides bursaries for less privileged children that wish to attend the AF School
