I’m an international business strategist, marketing consultant, storyteller and as the Founder of Artemis Futures, work with startups, small businesses and organisations of tomorrow to help them navigate successful futures. From 2011-2016 I worked with Rexam PLC, a global FTSE100 manufacturer of aluminium drinks cans with over 4Bn pounds in annual revenue and 11,000 employees. Rexam was acquired by Ball Corporation in June 2016. During my 6 years at Rexam, I re-engineered innovation pipeline management and processes and led specific projects around our new aluminium bottle offer. During this time, I took on a new-to-Rexam role focused on setting up customer facing innovation, global product strategy, and developing both collaborative relationships and joint medium-long term roadmaps with 8 of our strategic customers globally. I was present during the 16-month acquisition of Rexam by Ball Corporation and worked in a handover role for 5 months to develop new marketing collateral and messaging. Prior to this, I developed sales processes and training collateral in the digital media sector, supporting the pilot and launch of on-line advertising and sponsorship products as part of a startup within Northcliffe Media. I created and launched new customer proposition frameworks and portals at Alpha Airports Group and also worked in a range of contract marketing and customer development roles in and around London after moving from Australia (and a 12-year stretch in Consumer Goods Marketing) in 2004. I have degrees in Marketing and Psychology from Monash University in Australia. I am passionate about empowering people and making a difference and have been a trustee on the Board at Copthall School - an all-girls secondary academy - in North London (UK) since June 2017. Being involved in the education sector has been eye-opening for me - interesting, inspiring, motivating - and it has forced me to keep asking what we can do to help young people to be resilient, resourceful and responsible people who thrive in their future lives.
