UK Overseas Territories Conservation Forum (UKOTCF) exists to promote and protect the 90% of UK's biodiversity found in the Overseas Territories (UKOTs) and Crown Dependencies.
Environment
The UKOTs are internationally recognised for their exceptionally rich and varied natural environments; from vast emperor penguin colonies in British Antarctic Territory to the critically endangered mountain chicken frog in Montserrat, both UK and territory governments bear joint responsibility for conserving and protecting the rich natural heritage of the UKOTs. UKOTCF helps raise awareness of the UKOTs and their unique wildlife, working in partnership with organisations in-territory to help conserve these special places. We are the only organisation working solely on cross-territory UKOT issues, providing assistance in the form of expertise, information and liaison between non-governmental organisations and governments, both in the UK and in the territories themselves.
