Mission

Together 4 Africa (T4A) is a recently set up coalition of mostly volunteer-led charities operating at grassroots level in various parts of Africa. Our main objective is to strengthen our financial and knowledge base by sharing platforms and information and generally supporting each other. But we also want to promote the idea that everyone can do something and educate the public on the issues that we are trying to address.We all are -and wish to remain- individual charities with different approaches and needs. Becoming a member of Together 4 Africa does not in anyway change what makes each charity special, it simply lets more people get to know about what they do while enabling them to share in and contribute to a pool of knowledge, useful resources and tips through the website in particular. Being part of Together 4 Africa gives charities the chance to recruit volunteers, get to know other charities, ask for advice and even put up events together.We are aiming to create a thriving coalition that will become a recognized brand for good value for money (public perspective) and an organisation worth joining (charities perspective). In particular, we hope to be able to negotiate training packages from the professionals such as CAF or the FSI and get ourselves noticed by the Media, Grant Trusts and other funding organisations. As a group we hope to become more influential and able to show a larger audience that giving a hand up is something that everyone can get involved in, and that it works
