Mission

Our primary objective is to ensure the defeat of HB 861, a bill that will shut the USEPA completely and (see https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/861).  Our secondary objective include fighting the Executive Order forbidding any regulation that costs .01 to businesses, and which demands that for every 1 regulation proposed, 2 must be eliminated.We will fight this anti-American legislation with science and inspirational stories.  We also wish to fight anti-regulation for anti-regulation's sake, like combatting Executive Order

Americans for EPA was established to promote US Environmental Protection Agency against HB 861 introduced to abolish the agency by 2018.  The group is engaged in community outreach, education and engaging in public support of the USEPA and its work on behalf of everday Americans. Founder Carolin Shining is a mother of two boys, a biochemistry major and an active solo trial lawyer.  She has long been a lover of the outdoors, oceans, mountains and beaches. She grew up camping in the forests and parks of Michigan and spent years as a lifeguard at a small lake in the 1980s  Professionally, she spent 15 years fighting for victims of asbestos poisoning in California courts and advocating for them on Capital Hill and in Sacramento.
