Experience

I have built a career focused on improving brand value and customer advocacy in both retail and corporate marketing in the financial services sector. Working across cultures in Emerging markets (primarily Colombia, Mexico, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe and South Africa) and Europe (primarily UK, Sweden and Poland). Until September 2016 I was the Group Head of Marketing for the Old Mutual Group, a FTSE100 company (with £328 billion funds under management, operating in over 30 countries with 64,000 employees). A role that required leadership, direction setting and the ability to collaborate with and influence Heads of Marketing across the Group. As a result of the plc strategy to break the group into four stand-alone businesses and closure of the Head Office, my role came to an end. Post Old Mutual I have consulted to a sustainability start-up helping them develop their brand, and completed the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership course (CISL) in November.
