CHICKS has recently acquired its third retreat in Ashbourne Derbyshire and needs to raise its profile in the surrounding areas to offer more children the opportunity to attend a respite break. The retreat is due to have an official launch in June/July 2017. Our mission is to develop a robust and sustainable marketing plan and need support in order for us to do this.

Set up in 1992 as Camping Holidays for Inner City Kids, we have since supported over 14,000 disadvantaged children and young carers, aged 8-15, from across the UK. The children we support have no other opportunity for a break from their difficult home lives many have never been on a holiday. A CHICKS break provides these young people with the chance to forget the challenges they are facing at home and allows them to enjoy a carefree week, where they can run through fields, ride horses across the moors and swim in the sea. Through the provision of days out and new opportunities in a safe, family-style environment, CHICKS aims to provide these children with a break full of positivity and excitement, where they can make new friends and create happy childhood memories.
