Cambridge Rare Disease Network aims to connect all stakeholders involved with rare diseases. We are creating a Round table of patients to provide a platform where issues of common concern can be collated and brought to the attention of service providers. We are also forming a Companies Forum to bring industry working with rare diseases together in a neutral space for networking, discussions and policy changes. Our annual international summit brings all stakeholders together to help accelerate new treatments and innovations for people affected by rare diseases. One in seventeen people are affected by a rare disease and the need is great to raise the profile of the great unmet medical and social needs of people affected.
