Mission
Our vision is that individuals and families affected by ectodermal dysplasia are equipped with the knowledge needed to manage the condition effectively and live life to the full and that medical and other professionals have the information and understanding they need to support those affected.
We created an award-winning children's book some time ago to help children and their peers understand more about ectodermal dysplasia and now would like to create a children's book about bullying specific to ectodermal dysplasia. We do not have the resources to do this and are seeking help from a designer.

Additional Information
The Ectodermal Dysplasia Society is a Charity supporting individuals and families who are affected by the condition. The ectodermal dysplasias are genetic disorders affecting the development or function of the skin, teeth, hair, nails and sweat glands. Depending on the syndrome ectodermal dysplasia can also affect the lens or retina of the eye, parts of the inner ear, development of fingers and toes, nerves and many other parts of the body. Absent sweat glands cause a lack of temperature control which is life-threatening. Children have missing or misshapen (pointed) teeth, requiring dentures from the age of 3.
