St. George’s Community Children’s Project, based in Tunbridge Wells, is a registered charity with over 30 years’ experience providing affordable childcare for children aged three months to 11 years. We offer subsidised places to families in need of support or who find themselves in crisis. Our service, unique to the area, plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life for those in the deprived areas of our community. We work closely with local authorities, social services, health visitors and the women’s refuge who make us aware of children who are at risk and would benefit from the structure, stability and consistency of care that we provide. And it’s not only the children who benefit from our support. We’re able to give parents the opportunity to work or allow them the time they desperately need to make positive improvements for themselves and their children.
