Mission

Mission Statement - 4 Paws for People will, for the public benefit, promote the relief of distress and assistance of people in need (including those with special learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental health problems and any other psychological, functional or learning difficulty or need) in any part of the UK, by supporting independent bodies, charities and organisations through donations, to help with specific projects or the care of animals to enhance psychological wellbeing through human-animal interactions.

4 Paws For People’s overall objective is to raise funds to donate to organisations and charities for both public benefit and animal benefit across the UK. We are a small, new, not for profit organisation (Registered Company No. 10793621). Funds raised will be donated to organisations and charities: that promote positive relationships and wellbeing through interactions between people and animals; that promote and provide facilities and services to enable people with special learning needs, physical disabilities, mental health problems (and any other psychological, functional or learning difficulty or need) to enhance their wellbeing by being with, being around, or caring for animals and therefore relieving distress; that advance and promote the welfare of animals and/or specific development projects to enhance wellbeing through human-animal interactions; that support therapeutic interventions provided by organisations and charities that utilise and develop positive mutually beneficial relationships of people and animals to relieve distress.
